Former journalist of the "Football" channels Volodymyr Kramar voiced his version of the scandalous story regarding the refusal of Bayer Leverkusen striker Artem Stepanov to join the U-20 Ukraine national team training camp.

- I heard that there was physical altercation in the locker room. I don’t know who was pulling Stepanov, Mykhailenko or Yezersky, but it’s important to understand that such methods do not work. I don’t know, maybe he behaved improperly, and one of the coaches took him aside and spoke to him harshly. And he didn’t like it. He said that he wouldn’t come to those coaches anymore, neither to Mykhailenko nor to Yezersky. As long as they are there, he won’t come," Kramar said on the YouTube channel BurBuzz.
