The main goalkeeper of Barcelona Marc-André ter Stegen is taking his first steps on the football field after a serious knee injury.

As Fabrizio Romano writes on Twitter, the 32-year-old footballer has started training with the main team for the first time since the injury. The German spent the first part of the training session with his teammates, after which he worked individually.

“I have returned to training and I am very hungry to get back to playing soon. I missed six months, but now I feel great, I have a lot of energy.

I don’t know exactly when I will be able to play, but the coach will decide when to put me in the lineup,” said ter Stegen.
