The midfielder of Lechia Bohdan Vyunyk spoke about the court case ongoing between him and his former club - Donetsk Shakhtar.
Bohdan Vyunyk"I have lawyers who are working on this case. I leave it to them so that I can focus on football. I am waiting for the outcome of this case. At the moment, I do not know the details.
Why did I choose Lechia and not stay at Shakhtar? This is a very good question. I was at Shakhtar for many years and wanted to be a key player there and play regularly. I had disagreements with the club management, and we could not come to an agreement. I had only one option left - to continue playing football. After terminating my contract with Shakhtar, Lechia reached out to me - they wanted to sign me, and I am grateful to them.
Regarding the situation with Shakhtar, each side has its view on this matter. I just wanted to continue playing football and realize my dreams. I did not see another option other than to terminate the contract with Shakhtar and leave. In my view, I was on the same level as other players - both Ukrainians and foreigners. There were different situations that I considered simply unfair towards me. However, I cannot talk about them publicly right now. Maybe, someday the time will come," Vyunyk said in an interview with Onet.pl.
