Former goalkeeper of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” Heorhii Bushchan, who currently plays for “Al-Shabab”, stated that he was disappointed when he was not called up to the national team of Ukraine for the playoff matches of the Nations League against the national team of Belgium.

When I traveled by train for two days, and then after the game I had to go to the national team — I went. And now I was not called up. Maybe I am already old for Ukraine and they are slowly writing me off (smiles — note). When I arrived at "Al-Shabab", I was told: “You are only 30 years old, you still have half of your career ahead.” In Ukraine, the attitude is changing, they talk about rejuvenating the team, and I came here — I still want to play.
