The former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Denys Oliinyk expressed his opinion regarding Ruslan Rotan’s work at the helm of «Oleksandriya».
Denys Oliinyk«In my view, Rotan and his coaching staff are currently the best in Ukraine. I asked Ruslan Petrovych to intern at "Oleksandriya". I am grateful that he gave me the opportunity to observe his work.
We have a good relationship, we played together and always kept in touch. I have been at «Oleksandriya» since the beginning of the second round and will stay until the end of the championship. I have learned a lot of new things and continue to study.
Rotan has a very interesting training process and requirements that I like. At «Oleksandriya», everyone knows what to do on the football field. The coaching staff demands combinational, attacking football from the team. After losing the ball, everyone immediately engages in pressing. This style of football suits me. When I become a coach, my team will play as the attacking side.
Is Rotan ready to move up to «Dynamo» or «Shakhtar»? I am confident that he is ready, but this is more of a question for Ruslan Petrovych. Everything is very professionally organized with him, and he and his assistants have a good understanding of football," said Oliinyk.
