Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard admitted that he currently does not want to return to coaching.

At some point, I will return, but not within the next couple of years. I enjoy this freedom. The last team for the 44-year-old Englishman was the Saudi "Al-Ettifaq," which he led from 2023 to 2025. Gerrard also worked as head coach of the Scottish "Rangers" and the English "Aston Villa."
