As previously reported, following the draw that took place on Thursday the draw for the 1/2 finals of the Ukrainian Cup, the opponent of Kyiv’s "Dynamo" at this stage of the tournament will be the Chernivtsi "Bukovina".
Stadium «Ukraina»The home team in the match between these teams will be "Bukovina", but it will not be able to host "Dynamo" at its home stadium, as this arena does not meet the necessary requirements for holding semifinal matches of the Ukrainian Cup. However, clarity regarding the venue for the upcoming meeting came quite quickly.
Yesterday, an agreement was reached that the match "Bukovina" — "Dynamo" will take place in Lviv at the "Ukraina" stadium, as reported by "Sport.ua".
According to the source, initially the Chernivtsi club approached the management of "Arena-Lviv" with a proposal to hold the cup match, but received no agreement for a valid reason: the Lviv team decided not to risk the condition of the pitch, as a match of the Ukrainian Championship "Shakhtar" — "Dynamo" might take place here on April 26 or 27 (an alternative venue for this meeting is the "Arena Left Bank" stadium near Kyiv).
