Former player of the Ukraine national team and Kyiv’s Dynamo, now the assistant head coach of Oleksandriya, Serhiy Kravchenko spoke about his return to the football field.
Serhiy Kravchenko during performances for “Dynamo”— Serhiy, there’s information that you will play for “Standart” (Novyi Sanzhary). Is this true?
— I will play if there is a possibility, but it will be rare, or perhaps not at all. If Standart’s match falls on my day off, then I will play for them.
— How did the option with “Standart” come about?
— Anton Kicha asked me to help. I said I was not against it, but I will come if I can. I love playing football. Moreover, Novyi Sanzhary has a wonderful field and a good team.
— As far as I understand, you maintain your fitness.
— Everything is fine with that, I maintain my fitness.
— Do you miss your career as a footballer or have you fully focused on coaching?
— Of course, I miss it. I think I will always miss it.
