Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk stated that there is progress in negotiations regarding the long-awaited new contract for his stay at Anfield.

The contract of the 33-year-old Dutchman, as well as that of his teammates Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, expires this summer, but he hinted that a decision regarding the future may be made soon.
