Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois took the blame for Declan Rice’s first goal in the Champions League quarter-final match against Arsenal (0:3).

“At the moment of the first goal, I needed to put another player in the wall. But I thought Rice wouldn’t curl the ball so much. I take responsibility for that goal. As for the second goal, it was absolutely perfect. These were unnecessary fouls from some players when there was no danger,” Courtois quoted by AS.
