Assistant head coach of “Alexandria” Sergey Kravchenko talked about the current tasks of his team in the Ukrainian championship.

Considering the position we are currently in (second place in the league table after 23 rounds, 4 points behind the leading “Dynamo” — ed.), our tasks are the highest. But I don’t want to say that we are fighting for something specific because at the beginning of the season, we weren’t even given the task to fight for European cups, since there are many teams that are better than us, including financially.
But now, of course, it’s great to be where we are. We hope to finish the championship somewhere up there. But achieving this will be difficult because, as you know, the second round of the Ukrainian championship is always very interesting.
By the way, I want to say one important thing: the refereeing in Ukraine has become much better. 10-15 years ago, "Alexandria" would not have been able to find itself in second place. But now the situation with refereeing has improved. There is VAR, public scrutiny, journalists, and a lot of hype. I believe that our referees are officiating at a very high level now. It’s clear that there are mistakes, but the level is much higher than it was in the times when I played,” Kravchenko said on the YouTube channel “The Sport Dnipro Ukraine”.
