The former head coach of “Shakhtar” Paulo Fonseca, who currently leads “Lyon”, shared his thoughts on Ukraine.
Paulo Fonseca“It is really hard for me to watch what is happening there every day. In the last few days, we are seeing murders, children and innocent people dying. The world is in a very dangerous situation: we have more imperialists, more dictators who want to govern things wrongly.
I don’t think that great efforts are being made to resolve the situation in Ukraine. It’s hard to imagine situations like there, like in Palestine. The people who have the power to end these wars are not doing what we need.
Europe needs to unite, be stronger, and be ready so that people do not suffer. I know that Ukrainians will never give up, and I hope that one day I will return to see my friends,” quoted Fonseca by the Telegram channel “Vzbírna” referring to The Guardian.
