The main reason for this decision was Salah’s desire to break all possible scoring records, reported journalist James Pearce from The Athletic.
Mohamed wants to at least catch up with Harry Kane, who scored 213 goals in the EPL, and then aim for Alan Shearer’s eternal record. The Newcastle and Blackburn legend netted 260 goals in the English league, while Salah currently has 184 accurate shots.
