Ukrainian midfielder of Girona Viktor Tsygankov was in the starting lineup for his team in yesterday’s match La Liga against Osasuna (1:2), but was substituted already in the 51st minute of the match. The head coach of the Catalans, Michel, explained the reason for such an early substitution of the 27-year-old midfielder.
Michel“Tsygankov had a stomach upset, and at some point, I started to see that he began to drop out of the game, so I made that substitution,” Michel said at the post-match press conference.
In addition, it should be noted that in the current season, Tsygankov has played 25 matches for Girona in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
