“Manchester United” suffered another defeat in a match of the English championship, losing away to “Newcastle” — 1:4.
As reported by the statistical portal Squawka, now “United” has more defeats in EPL matches since the departure of legendary coach Alex Ferguson than during his entire coaching tenure at the club — 27 years.
After Ferguson announced his decision to retire from coaching in 2013, “United” under various managers has played 450 matches in the Premier League. Yesterday’s defeat was already the 115th, while during Ferguson’s time the Manchester club lost a total of 114 times in 810 matches.
It is worth noting that currently “United” under Ruben Amorim occupies the 14th position in the EPL standings.
