Former Ukrainian goalkeeper Vadim Deonas shared his thoughts on the decisive part of the Ukrainian championship.
Vadim Deonas— The less time left until the finish, the more intense the battle is at all poles of the table without exception. And at the top — especially. "Dynamo" and "Shakhtar" seem to be stepping in unison in the spring part of the championship. I remember, three rounds ago both of our superclubs lost points together, playing a draw. And this once again indicates that the tension will rise with each match. Dynamo players defeated "Kryvbas" with class, and I can say the same about the match of the "miners" against LNZ. The Cherkasy team found it hard to oppose the Donetsk team, which led with a three-goal advantage before the midway point of the match.
In my opinion, the situation at the top of the table will significantly intensify if "Shakhtar" manages to win the unfinished match against "Kryvbas" tomorrow. And already in the next round, we are waiting for the Ukrainian clásico "Shakhtar" — "Dynamo", the outcome of which is hard to predict. And one more thing. I would like to highlight the confident play of Dynamo goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret. When "Dynamo" sold Georgiy Bushchan, there was a lot of discontent from the fans: they wondered who would be left as the last line of defense?! However, the matches of the spring part of this season have shown that there is reason to be calm about the goalkeeper position, — believes the expert.
