The Ukrainian Premier League summed up the results of the 5th round of the Ukrainian championship, which ended only last Wednesday, when Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" and Donetsk "Shakhtar" (1:3) completed their postponed match.
The team of the 5th round of the UPLThe determination of the best traditionally took place through a survey of representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each respondent named a trio of contenders for the title of Coach of the Round, five contenders for the title of Player of the Round, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.
The best in this round were representatives of Lviv "Rukh," who crushed "Inhulets" (5:0): the head coach of the team Vitaliy Ponomaryov and its forward Ihor Krasnopir, who scored a double in this match.
The 5th round team looked like this: Kucherenko (LNZ) — Tymchyk (“Dynamo”), Kholod (“Rukh”), Mikhavko (“Dynamo”), Martyniuk (“Oleksandriya”) — Michin (“Zorya”), Prykhodko (“Levyi Bereh”), Sudakov (“Shakhtar”) — Kvasnytsia (“Rukh”), Nazarenko (“Polissia”) — Krasnopir (“Rukh”).
In total, experts mentioned 21 footballers and 10 coaches for the title of heroes of the 5th round, as well as 56 candidates for the symbolic team. Therefore, in addition to the 11 footballers of the conditional starting lineup, a conditional reserve for the symbolic team of the round was formed: Bohdan Butko (“Chornomorets”), Ilya Krupskyi (“Vorskla”), Jordan (“Zorya”), Vladyslav Babohlo (“Karpaty”), Roman Didyk (“Rukh”), Oleksandr Didyk (“Rukh”), Oleksandr Didyk (“Rukh”), (“Oleksandriya”), Taras Stepanenko (“Shakhtar”), Kevin (“Shakhtar”), Andrii Yarmolenko (“Dynamo”).
