The head coach of Poltava’s Vorskla Yuri Maksimov, commenting on his team’s defeat to Alexandria (1:3) in yesterday’s match of the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship, indicated that he might leave his position.

There are no questions to them, I am responsible for the result, so all questions are to me. I told the guys that I would talk to the club management and make a decision. Because something is not going well, and something needs to change," said Maksimov at the post-match press conference.
After the played matches, Vorskla is still in the group of teams fighting to stay in the UPL: the Poltava team is in 14th place in the standings.
