The vice-president of "Vorskla" commented for "TaToTake" on the current situation in the club, as well as the head coach of Poltava Yury Maksymov’s intention to discuss his future with the club’s management.

"We had a conversation, and we assured the coach that we are ready to support him. We got into this story together, and we have to get out of it together. I know well and understand Vilyich, because we worked together for three years and worked great. With this coach and these players, we were in European cups. That’s why I believe that Maksymov can take the team up. Yes, things are not going well right now, but we need to figure out why this is happening and focus on solving the task.
At the same time, the responsibility for the result is not only on Maksymov alone or the management. Our players—both young and experienced—must also withstand the pressure. The position of the management is the same and clear: the club must live and play in UPL despite all the difficulties; this is the fundamental story of "Vorskla".
If we had collected not 5 points this spring, but at least 8—based on what we realistically earned—then everything would be much calmer now...” said Lysak.
