The 1500th Duplicate Occurred in the UPL

Moldovan defender “Karpaty” Vladislav Baboglo scored two goals against “Inhulets” and became the author of the anniversary, 1500th, duplicate in the history of the Ukrainian championship.

The count of duplicates was opened on March 18, 1992, when the striker of Zaporizhzhia “Metalurh” Oleg Taran scored two goals against Shepetivka “Temp” in an away match (2:0).

Among 50 clubs, the most duplicates were made by players of “Dynamo” — 224 and “Shakhtar” — 213.

Among players, the most frequent duplicator was Andriy Yarmolenko — 19 times, Serhiy Rebrov, Marko Devic, Yevhen Seleznov, and Oleksandr Hladkiy — 18 each.

In total, Ukrainian players made 1064 duplicates, while legionnaires — 436.
