“Lester”, losing to “Liverpool” (0:1) in a home match of the 33rd round of the English championship, has lost its theoretical chances of retaining its place in the EPL.
With five rounds left until the end of the championship, the “foxes” are in second-to-last place, 19th in the standings, trailing the safe 17th spot by 18 points. Thus, “Lester” no longer has the opportunity to leave the “relegation zone.”
It is noteworthy that “Lester” returned to the elite English division only a year ago, becoming the champion of the Championship (the second-tier division of England) last season.
