The vice-president of Kryvyi Rih’s “Kryvbas”, Artem Hoharin, excluded the possibility of the team relocating to another city during the war and denied the information that the club’s legionnaires want to leave the club.
Artem Hoharin“Some of the legionnaires are training, some of them are in the stands, some of them are currently not here. But all of them, as well as Ukrainian players, have active contracts with ‘Kryvbas’. These contracts are not terminated, and all these footballers are players of ‘Kryvbas’. That’s it. This is official information.
As for discussions about relocating to another city, football is a very important thing for Kryvyi Rih. It helps the city to hold on. Therefore, we play here. And we will play here as long as we can do it. Kryvyi Rih is Ukraine. It is just as dangerous for us as it is in any other corner of Ukraine. No one anywhere can be safe,” said Hoharin during a broadcast on the YouTube channel “Football 360”.
