The Ukrainian Premier League has summed up the results of the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship, the matches of which took place last weekend.
The team of the 25th round of the UPLDetermining the best traditionally took place through a survey of representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each of the respondents named a trio of candidates for the coach of the round, a five of candidates for the player of the round, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.
The best player of the 25th round was the left winger Vladislav Veleteny ('Koloss'), who delivered an incredible performance in the match against 'Shakhtar' — one goal and three assists. He also gathered almost all first places in the surveys and significantly surpassed the other heroes of the round. The top 5 heroes included the author of two goals against 'Vorskla' Teddy Tsara (left winger from 'Oleksandria'), Andriy Yarmolenko (right winger of 'Dynamo'), Ihor Neves and Bruninho (central forward and central midfielder of 'Karpaty').
The best coach of the 25th round was almost unanimously recognized by the group of 38 experts as Ruslan Kostyshyn, who with 'Koloss' crushed 'Shakhtar' (4:2). He gathered almost all first places in the surveys, significantly outpacing Yuriy Vernydub ('Kryvbas' defeated 'Zorya' — 3:0) and Vladislav Lupashka ('Karpaty' won the Lviv derby against 'Rukh' — 3:1), who took 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the coaching ranking of the round.
