The match predictably began with attacks by the “white-blues,” who took the field in quite an experimental lineup from the first minutes. Nevertheless, the first dangerous moment at the "Bukovina" goal arose already in the 5th minute of the game: Voloshyn crossed from the left flank, but Guerrero failed to strike from the goalkeeper’s line. The nominal hosts of the match, despite such a “wake-up call,” continued to play second fiddle, relying on counterattacks.
Another great moment was missed by Dynamo in the 17th minute: after an amazing pass from Yarmolenko from deep in the field to Guerrero, the forward decided to pass further to Voloshyn in the penalty area, but did so very unsuccessfully. As a result, the guest midfielder sent the ball out of bounds...
And now “Bukovina” “woke up” in attack. First, Kozhusko miraculously failed to open the scoring, hitting the post from close range, and in the 24th minute, a mini-sensation occurred — the first league representative managed to score! After a regrettable error by Brazhko, who slipped near his penalty area, Hlushchuk picked up the ball and passed to Boychuk — the forward of “Bukovina” had only to shoot accurately in the corner from a few meters — 1:0!
Of course, such a development of events somewhat shocked our team, and therefore the Dynamo players immediately rushed to catch up. Immediately, another gorgeous moment was missed by Rubchinskiy: playing a wall with Yarmolenko in the opponent’s penalty area, he found himself one-on-one with Kanevtsev, but instead of passing to the empty net to Guerrero, he decided to shoot — right into the goalkeeper... The first half ended with a series of corner kicks near the "Bukovina" goal, but without results for the “white-blues.”
Photo — Alexander PopovAfter the break, “Dynamo” significantly increased its pace, primarily due to several substitutions. “Closing” “Bukovina” on its half of the field, Shovkovskiy’s charges managed to equalize the score already in the 57th minute of the match. Vanat, who had entered the field a few minutes earlier, ran one-on-one with Kanevtsev — the goalkeeper parried his shot, but the ball bounced right to Voloshyn, who struck from about twenty-five meters into the empty net — 1:1!
And here “Bukovina” simply “crumbled.” Just a few minutes later, Voloshyn managed to score a brace in a rather comical way: after a corner kick, Kanevtsev made a mistake in leaving, the ball flew to the goal line, and the defender, trying to clear it, hit the midfielder of Kyiv — 1:2! The third goal into the “Bukovina” net was scored already from the penalty spot after a foul on Vanat. It’s nice that our team decided to support Brazhko and gave him the right to shoot from the “spot.” Volodymyr accurately sent the ball into the lower corner of the net — 1:3!
The final point in the match was set by Shaparenko in the 76th minute: another quick attack by the “white-blues” ended in a “fire” in the penalty area of the Chernivtsi club, which Shaparenko took advantage of, shooting past Kanevtsev from five meters — 1:4!
In the remaining time, “Bukovina,” understanding that nothing could change, tried to score at least one more goal, but the Dynamo players calmly brought this game to a victorious conclusion! Shovkovskiy’s charges are in the final of the Ukrainian Cup!
Let us remind you that Dynamo’s next match will be in the Ukrainian championship next Sunday, April 27. The central match of the entire second round of the UPL against “Shakhtar” will also take place in Lviv. The match starts at 18:00.
