Yesterday, April 22, a video conference was held with UPL participants regarding the competition calendar plan for the Ukrainian Championship season 2025/2026.
Photo: upl.uaUPL club representatives received a draft calendar plan prepared by the working group in advance. Video conference participants agreed not to hold a match for the Ukrainian Super Cup and to set August 2 as the base date for the 1st round of the 2025/2026 season.
UPL clubs were given time for final approval of the competition calendar plan for the Ukrainian Premier League 2025/2026 season. It will be finally approved at the UAF Executive Committee meeting.
Let us remind you that in the 2025/2026 season, four representatives of Ukraine in European cups are expected to perform in the early stages of the draw — before the start of the UPL championship.
Champions League: the UPL champion will start in the second qualifying round (July 22/23 and 29/30).
Europa League: the holder of the Ukrainian Cup or the second UPL team will start in the first qualifying round (on July 10 and 17).
Conference League: the second and third (or third and fourth) UPL teams will start in the second qualifying round (on July 24 and 31).
