In the first zone, I made a mistake when I slipped, and we conceded, which made it much harder. But it’s good that after the break we adjusted, started pressing more, not allowing the opponent to calmly work with the ball. Accordingly, they made mistakes, and we created opportunities.
— When Vanat earned the penalty, Buialskyi was preparing to take it, but eventually passed the ball to you. What did the captain say? How much did this goal add to your confidence?
— I asked Buialskyi if I could take it. He asked, “Are you sure?” To which I replied, “Yes.” I needed this goal; one must go through such periods. It’s not always easy; there are difficult times, but I’m working hard to reach my best form. This goal will give me confidence.
— Did this goal serve as a kind of rehabilitation for the mistake in the first half?
— As I said, I needed this goal.
