UEFA is considering the possibility of canceling extra time in the Champions League.

UEFA representatives propose that a penalty shootout be conducted in this case without the additional 30 minutes, which will help reduce the burden on players, reports FootballHub citing BILD.
UEFA also plans to return the rule that was previously applied in European competitions – teams from the same country cannot meet in the group stage and the round of 16 of the competition.
