Costa Rican defender of Poltava’s Vorskla, Fernan Faerron, who joined this team on loan in February of this year, is leaving the "green-whites" early.
Fernan Faerron. Photo — FC VorsklaAccording to Costa Rican media, this decision was made by the 24-year-old footballer and his family, who are also in Poltava, against the backdrop of increased recent rocket and drone strikes by Russia on residential areas of Ukrainian cities.
It should be added that Vorskla rented Faerron from the Costa Rican team Herediano until the end of the current season. Since then, the foreign player has only participated in two matches of the Poltava team (in the first case, he was on the field for one half, in the second—10 minutes).
