Former defender of Manchester United Patrice Evra debuts in MMA. The fight will take place in Paris.
On May 23, a fighting show will take place in Paris. In the PFL promotion, well-known footballer Patrice Evra will make his debut. Patrice will officially debut in mixed martial arts at the PFL Europe tournament at the Accor Arena in Paris. At the age of 43, he will participate in a demonstration fight, but his opponent’s name has not yet been announced, reports PFL.
Evra began training in martial arts back in 2016, training under the guidance of French PFL fighter Cedric Doumbe. He expressed confidence in his readiness for the fight and promised to put on a spectacular show for the fans.
The PFL Europe tournament in Paris will showcase fights involving such fighters as Mansur Barnaoui and Archie Kolgan, as well as the quarter-finals of the lightweight tournament.
It is worth noting that Evra ended his football career in 2018.
