On Monday, April 28, the final of the UEFA Youth League took place. In the decisive match, the Spanish “Barcelona U-19” dealt a crushing defeat to the Turkish “Trabzonspor U-19” with a score of 4:1.

Despite the fact that the youth team of “Dynamo” ended its participation in this competition back in February, losing in the 1/16 finals in a penalty shootout to the Italian “Atalanta” 6:7 (after regular time ended in a draw 3:3), the top scorer of the tournament was indeed a representative of our club.
The most goals were scored by the forward of the “white-blues” Matviy Ponomarenko, who has 8 goals (1 from a penalty). He shares the first place with two other players who have the same result — forward of the French PSG Mamadou Sangare and forward of the Austrian “Salzburg” Philipp Fergunig.
As a reminder, Ponomarenko scored twice in the goal of the Slovenian “Maribor” in the away match of the 2nd round of the “Champions Path,” three times at home against “2 Korriku” (Kosovo) in the 3rd round of the “Champions Path,” and twice away. Matviy also scored once in the goal of “Atalanta.”
