During the XXVII regular Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association, the financial report of UAF was made public, which can be reviewed at this link.
Delegates were also presented with the report on the results of the operational audit of the public union "Ukrainian Football Association" for the period from 2015 to 2023. The presentation of the audit report was broadcast live.
During the presentation, Elena Potopalska, the General Director of the audit company Crowe Ukraine, emphasized:
“During the provision of audit services, we received numerous inquiries from representatives of interested parties. Complaints were directed both to us as an audit entity and to international organizations. At the same time, there were attempts to establish informal contacts from third parties in order to influence the results of the audit, as well as the application of other pressure tactics. We have repeatedly and timely informed the UAF management about all these cases, emphasizing attempts to interfere with our independent professional activity and attempts of public discreditation of our objective report.”
Another independent audit was also conducted. It was carried out by the reputable company Baker Tilly. A representative from the second auditor also presented the results to the UAF Congress delegates.
“Two independent audits were conducted. It is necessary to analyze these documents, summarize all the information, and submit it to the relevant competent authorities that have the authority to consider such cases,” noted UAF President Andriy Shevchenko.
