The Polish Football Union announced that it has not issued a license for "Lechia" from Gdańsk to participate in the Ekstraklasa for the 2025/2026 season.

It is reported that the reason for this decision is the failure of "Lechia" to fulfill its financial obligations. The Gdańsk club has 5 days to appeal this decision.

Let us remind you that there are 5 Ukrainian football players in the "Lechia" squad: Bohdan Sarnavskyi, Ivan Zhelezko, Bohdan Vyunyk, Anton Tsarenko, and Maksym Khlianskyi.
