The Ukrainian Premier League has summed up the results of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship.
Team of the 16th round of the UPLThe selection of the best traditionally took place through a survey of representatives from Ukrainian sports publications. Each respondent named a trio of contenders for the title of coach of the round, a quintet of contenders for the title of player of the round, as well as formed their own version of the symbolic team of the round.
As already reported, the best player of the round was recognized as the representative of «Dynamo» — the hero of the central match of the 16th round Vladyslav Vanat, the author of two goals against «Oleksandriya». Another author of two goals in the round — Ambrosiy Chachua («Karpaty» in the match against «Veres»), was slightly behind him, while the top-5 ranking of the round also included Denys Miroshnychenko («Karpaty», the author of three assists), Ruslan Dedukh («Lviv», two goals against LNZ) and Heorhiy Sudakov («Shakhtar»).
The best coach of the 16th round was recognized by a group of 30 experts as Oleksandr Shovkovskyi: his «Dynamo» achieved victory with a score of 3:0 in the confrontation with their direct competitor for the championship title — «Oleksandriya» (before the 16th round match, both teams had 37 points each). The top-3 ranking of the round also included Vladyslav Lupashko («Karpaty» crushed «Veres» — 5:0) and Vitalii Pervak («Lviv» took down LNZ — 3:1).
