The Ukrainian Premier League summed up the results of the 27th round of the championship of Ukraine, matches of which took place last weekend.
The national team of the 27th round of the UPLThe determination of the best traditionally took place through a survey of representatives of Ukrainian sports publications. Each respondent named a trio of candidates for the coach of the round title, a quintet of candidates for the player of the round title, and also formed their version of the symbolic team of the round.
There was a very high density observed in the remote dispute for the title of the best player of the 27th round. As a result, it was the midfielder of Karpaty, Ambrosiy Chachua, who distinguished himself with two goals in the match against Left Bank. The Lviv resident scored 10 points (150:140), ahead of Tedi Tsara from Oleksandriya—who had an assist and a goal in this round against Polissya, plus it was the Albanian winger who organized the sending-off of the defender of Zhytomyr at the beginning of the second half.
Also entering the top 5 ranking of the best players of the 27th round were: Nevertun (Shakhtar), Mykola Shaparenko (Dynamo), Ivan Kaliuzhnyi (Oleksandriya), and Denys Marchenko (Obolon). The last two scored an equal number of points (33 each) and shared 5th place.
The best coach of the 27th round was recognized by a group of 39 experts as Ruslan Rotan, who, leading Oleksandriya in the central match of the round, defeated Polissya (2:1). He surpassed Serhiy Shyshchenko (Obolon won against Veres away—2:0) and Vladyslav Lupashko (Karpaty snatched a victory in the match against Left Bank while playing with fewer players—3:2).
