AC Milan head coach Sérgio Conceição commented on his team’s victory in the match of the 35th round of the Italian championship against “Genoa”.
Sérgio Conceição— We started the match in one way, and finished in a completely different one. I am paid to work and read the game. Sometimes we, as coaches, can give more, sometimes we cannot. We are not only working on the system. We work at both the individual and collective levels.
Sometimes mistakes happen, as it was with the conceded goal. That is why at “Milan” we are very focused on working with such details. We are happy when players succeed.
Today we demonstrated that we have a strong and united team, where substitute players impact the game. We changed the formation and put João Félix with Santiago Giménez up front and somewhat opened the attack. This is a demonstration of the players’ skills, not the coach’s skills, — said Sérgio Conceição.
