Today the world was gifted a few famous people who closely tied their lives to football:
Alexander PihalenokAlexander Shpakov (1946) — a former football player who played as a defender. He is best known for his performances with Kyiv’s Dynamo, for which he played from 1964 to 1968. After his playing career, he began working as a coach. He currently works as a mentor at the Youth Sports School “Dynamo”. He is not only the first coach but also the first person who recognized the football talent of the legendary Ukrainian forward Andriy Shevchenko.
Alexander Pihalenok (1997) — a midfielder for Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. Alexander is a graduate of “Shakhtar”. He spent several seasons playing for “Mariupol” and “Dnipro-1”, and in the summer of 2024 he signed a full contract with “Dynamo”.
Artur Rudko (1992) — a Ukrainian football player, former goalkeeper for Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. He previously played for “Lech”, “Paphos”, and “Shakhtar”. He is currently a player for “Chornomorets”.
Vladislav Kulach (1993) — a Ukrainian football player, former forward for Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. He previously played for “Shakhtar”, “Zorya”, and other clubs. In 2021, as a free agent, he signed a contract with Kyiv’s “Dynamo” on a 2+1 scheme. He is currently a player for “Vorskla”.
