According to " Football 24", "Lechia" is considering appointing Vitaliy Ponomaryov as head coach.

Ponomaryov, who has experience working with young talents and is well-acquainted with the capabilities of Ukrainian players, has become the main candidate for the coaching position.
His contract with "Rukh" is effective until the end of the season, which coincides with the terms of the contract of the current "Lechia" coach John Carver.
However, the club is facing serious financial difficulties: the licensing committee of the Polish Football Federation has decided to refuse "Lechia" a license due to non-fulfillment of financial requirements. The club has already decided to appeal this decision, and the city authorities of Gdańsk have promised to provide financial support of 10 million zlotys to resolve the issues.
It is worth noting that 5 Ukrainian footballers represent "Lechia": goalkeeper Bohdan Sarnavskyi, forward Bohdan V’yunyk, winger Maksym Khlan, defensive midfielder Ivan Zhelizko, and midfielder Anton Tsarenko.
