On the eve of the 28th round match of the Ukrainian championship, in which “Dynamo” will meet with local “Polissya” in Zhytomyr tomorrow, let’s recall who among the current players of both teams have scored goals against each other.
Reminder, “Polissya” has been competing in the Premier League since last season, and the history of matches between the Zhytomyr club and “Dynamo” currently counts three matches.

“Polissya”
From the current roster of “Polissya,” Borys Krushynskyi scored against “Dynamo” in the first match between these rivals last season, which ended quite profitably. At that time, the teams scored five goals combined – the Zhytomyr team won at home with a score of 3:2. Also, Oleksiy Hutsulyak scored in the match of the first round of the current season, in which Dynamo won 2:1.
Moreover, there are quite a few players in the Zhytomyr club who have previously scored against “Dynamo” while playing for other teams. In particular, the same Oleksiy Hutsulyak scored twice against the “white-blues,” which happened last season (2023/2024) when he played for “Dnipro-1.”
One goal was scored by midfielders Oleksandr Nazarenko in the 2020/2021 season, and Eduard Sarapiy in the 2022/2023 season, when both also played for “Dnipro-1.” The defender Bohdan Mykhailychenko also has one accurate shot credited to him while playing for “Zorya” in the 2019/2020 season.
In the 2018/2019 season, the defender Lucas Taylor distressed the Kyiv team while playing for FC “Lviv.”
Earlier, before moving to “Dynamo,” midfielder Oleksandr Andriyevskyi managed to score against his future team in the 2016/2017 season while playing for “Chornomorets.”
“Dynamo”
Among the current players of “Dynamo,” Vitaliy Buyalskyi is the top scorer against “Polissya,” having scored three times last season. Initially, he scored twice in the first round match (one from a penalty), and then once in the second round match.
Vitaliy Buyalskyi – 3 goals
Vladyslav Vanat – 2
Mykola Shaparenko, Andrii Yarmolenko – 1 each.
Additionally, Mykola Mykhailenko and Oleksandr Pikhalyonok scored once against “Polissya” last season while playing for “Alexandriya” and “Dnipro-1,” respectively.
