The head coach of London’s Chelsea, Enzo Maresca, confessed that he would be pleased to play against Betis in the Conference League final, as the Spanish club is led by Manuel Pellegrini. At one time, Maresca played under the guidance of the Argentine specialist and was also his assistant at London’s West Ham.
Enzo Maresca and Manuel Pellegrini- I am happy to face Betis in the final, especially because of Manuel Pellegrini. He is like a father to me in this craft. We will both be happy. We worked together for four years: two years I was his player, two years I was his assistant. I know his attitude towards football players very well.
But most importantly, Manuel is an honest and wonderful man who always tries to be honest with players. I have learned a lot from him," said Enzo Maresca.
Let’s remind that Chelsea and Betis will meet in the Conference League final on May 28.
