The German Hamburg has prematurely returned to the Bundesliga. This happened as a result of the match in the 33rd round of the German Championship in the 2nd Bundesliga against Ulm.

With a tour to go until the end of the championship, Merlin Poland’s team will not drop below second place, which gives a direct ticket to the Bundesliga.
“This cannot be put into words. We have returned. After all, this is the result of hard work. A very special moment,” quotes Poland’s words Sky Sport.
Recall that Hamburg was relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the 2017/2018 season when they finished 17th. During their time in the second division, the six-time German champion was close to returning to the Bundesliga in each season: finishing fourth four times, third two more times, and losing in playoff matches.
