Donetsk “Shakhtar”, having won the Ukrainian Cup yesterday, has secured a spot in the Europa League next season according to the representation of Ukrainian clubs in European cups-2025/26.
The miners will start their fight in this tournament from the first qualifying round and to reach the main stage of the Europa League, they will need to pass four qualifying rounds.
At the same time, Shakhtar may qualify directly for the main stage of the Europa League. First of all, everything will depend on the outcome of the final of the Conference League of the current season, in which the Spanish Betis and English Chelsea will play. If the winner of the decisive match qualifies for the Europa League or the Champions League through their championship, then the spot of the Conference League winner in the main stage of the Europa League next season will be freed up. And then, according to the regulations, this “vacancy” will be filled by the club with the highest UEFA club coefficient among those participating in the Europa League qualification.
