On May 15, the 75th FIFA Congress took place in the capital of Paraguay, Asunción, with the participation of the delegation of the Ukrainian Football Association. According to the decision of the Executive Committee of UAF, our country in South America was represented by UAF President Andriy Shevchenko, UAF Vice President Oleksandr Shevchenko, and UAF General Secretary Ihor Hryshchenko.

We managed to organize a private conversation between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and FIFA President Gianni Infantino. The main topic is the return of peace to Ukraine. As President Zelenskyy noted, sports have a great influence on societies and states around the world.
Therefore, it is very important that FIFA supports the achievement of a just and lasting peace. We all must work for a common goal and use resources such as football to bring about a just end to the war. Thank you for the support of international partners who stand with us,” quoted Shevchenko by the press service of UAF.
