Odesa’s “Chornomorets” commented on the pricing policy for tickets to the home match against Kyiv’s “Dynamo” in the 29th round of the Ukrainian championship which will take place this Sunday.

We will try to clarify some acute points that have arisen after the start of ticket sales.
Firstly, many football fans have asked the question: why is the cost of a “ticket” 500 UAH? When FC “Chornomorets” was working on pricing, it took into account several important factors. We understood the huge demand for the first game at the stadium with fans in 3.5 years. Football fans have missed the emotions in the stands and the atmosphere of a true sports celebration.
We also understood that we would be able to accommodate significantly fewer spectators than in peaceful times. Therefore, we immediately warned potential buyers: the number of tickets is limited. Another important factor is the status of the opponent in the penultimate game of the season. “Dynamo” is a long-standing principal rival of the Odesa team, one of the strongest teams in Eastern Europe, a favorite in the fight for gold medals.
And one more important point. By setting such a price for the ticket, we hoped that it would serve as a “emergency brake” for speculators, resellers, and similar “black market kings”. But, unfortunately, we were unable to completely prevent the activities of outright fraudsters. On various services, we already see tickets being sold for 4-5 times the nominal price. In this regard, we warn fans: the club cannot guarantee admission to the stadium for spectators who purchased tickets “from hands” or on services that did not have official authorization to sell tickets,” it is stated in “Chornomorets’” statement on the official website of the club.
