The head coach of Donetsk “Shakhtar” Marino Pushich commented on his recent statement, which seemed, by all accounts, like a farewell to the club.
Marino Pushich“I think many people misunderstood me. By my words, I meant the victory in the Cup final. I am happy and proud of this victory, this trophy, and that’s it.
If people want to interpret this differently — that is their right. I have nothing more to add. I still have a year left on my contract with the club, and as long as the club has not made any official statement, I remain the head coach of ‘Shakhtar’. What will happen in the near future — I don’t know. We will see,” — said Pushich on the YouTube channel “ProFootball Digital”.
Interestingly, earlier the coach of the “miners” in an interview with De Telegraaf literally stated the following: “Now I am open to offers from other countries.” So, it seems that understanding what this coach really has on his mind is not possible.
