Kiev’s Dynamo, having won the current season of Ukraine, will participate in the Champions League next season. Their journey in the main European club tournament will begin in the second qualifying round of the champions path.
24 teams will participate in this stage of the Champions League: 14 winners of the first qualifying round and champions of countries occupying places from 16 to 24 in the UEFA coefficient table for the 2025/26 season, excluding Russia which occupies 22nd place, plus champions of Azerbaijan and Slovakia (28th and 29th places respectively).
At the moment, all participants of the 1st qualifying round of the Champions League are known, except for the representative from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but this will not affect the seeding of teams before the draw of this stage.

There is less certainty about the participants of the 2nd qualifying round since the champions of Croatia, Denmark, Poland, Hungary, and Israel have not yet been determined: the outcomes of the national championships in these countries can significantly influence the preliminary composition of the pots before the draw.
But in any case, Dynamo will be among the “seeded” in the draw of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.

3rd qualifying round of the Champions League 2025/26
This stage will feature 12 winners of the second qualifying round. There is almost no clarity regarding the seeding before the draw. This also applies to Kiev’s Dynamo in case they reach this round: unlike the 2nd qualifying round, the place among the “seeded” is not yet guaranteed for the Kyiv team.
Play-off round of the Champions League 2025/26
This stage will feature 6 winners of the second qualifying round, as well as “Celtic” (Scotland), “Basel” (Switzerland), “Bodo-Glimt” (Norway), and the champion of Austria (not yet determined).
Additionally, the draw for the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds of the Champions League season 2025/26 will take place on June 17. The first matches of the second qualifying round will be held on July 22 and 23, while the return matches will be on July 29 and 30.
