One of the leaders of "Veres" Semen Vovchenko reacted to the defeat in the 29th round of the Ukrainian championship against "Oleksandriya" — 1:3.
Semen Vovchenko"Oleksandriya" is one of those teams that plays itself and allows the opponent to do the same. We were determined to win this exchange of blows and break the three-match losing streak. Unfortunately, even before the break, the hosts practically resolved the issue of the winner, scoring three times in a row. The "city dwellers" outperformed us in realization, taking advantage of half-chances and punishing mistakes. And this already indicates an adequate level of execution skills.
Nevertheless, "Veres" is not one of those teams that reconcile with failures. After immediately scoring a consolation goal right after the break, Haiduchyk and Dakhnovskyi had great chances to bring back the intrigue, but they missed.
You know, we are already worried about this prolonged losing streak. And the fact that not all of them were deserved — is a weak consolation. We need to climb out of this psychological "pit". We will try to improve our tournament standing in the final match against LNZ," said Vovchenko.
