Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina confirmed that he will retire at the end of the season.

The 42-year-old goalkeeper will play his last match in his professional career on Friday when Como hosts Inter— a match that will play a crucial role in the Serie A title race.
“This has been much longer than I could have imagined, but it feels so short that I would like to experience it all over again. There are only three days left until the ‘last dance,’ and so many emotions, people, and memories come to mind, and all I can do is sum them up in one huge THANK YOU.
See you soon. New projects are on the horizon, and football runs in my veins... I cannot understand life without it,” the Spaniard wrote on his Twitter page.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Reina has already agreed to join Villarreal as a youth team coach.
