“Zarya” plans to return Skripnik. But there is a contender in the Czech Republic with Eurocup ambitions

Lugansk “Zarya” is planning to change its head coach, Mladen Bartulovic. As of today, the favorite on the club’s shortlist is Victor Skripnik, reports the Telegram channel “TaToTake”.

According to the source, Zarya’s president Yevgeny Geller is ready to bring back the 55-year-old specialist and is close to making a specific offer. Skripnik himself, after leaving “Metalist 1925” last summer, has been enhancing his qualifications during the current season (in Germany, where he once coached “Werder”, — ed. note) and is not afraid to return to Ukraine.

At the same time, besides “Zarya”, Skripnik is also claimed by one of the Czech clubs — with Eurocup ambitions.
