Forward of “Dynamo U-19” Fedir Zadorozhny commented on yesterday’s match against “Kolos U-19” (0:1), which marked the end of the championship season for his team in the youth league.
— I believe we played well today, created a lot of chances. We didn’t score our goals and conceded in the last minutes. But that happens; it’s football. You can always concede if you don’t play well.
— There’s some unpleasant trend in recent seasons that “Kolos” has become an awkward opponent for “Dynamo”...
— I don’t even know. They are always very well prepared for us, they come out and play until the end, and we always find it difficult to convert our chances, which are usually quite a lot. I believe that’s the problem.
— You spent the first part of the season on loan at “Zorya”. Tell us how you adapted to “Dynamo” after your return? How would you assess your time at “Dynamo”?
— I adapted very quickly because I communicate with all the guys, and it wasn’t a problem for me. “Dynamo” has a very good team, a championship spirit, so I’m not surprised we became champions.
— You came out on the left wing today instead of Redushka. Where do you prefer to play — on the left wing or in the center?
— Honestly, I don’t even know how to answer that. I’m comfortable in the center and on the left wing. There’s a lot of competition in the attack line at “Dynamo”, so they decided to send me to the left wing. But that’s not a problem for me; I can play wherever they put me — the main thing is to play.
— What are your plans for vacation?
— I’ll rest for about two weeks with my family, and then I’ll work and prepare for the next season.
