Mohamed Salah recognized as the best player of the season in the Premier League

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has been named the best player of the current Premier League season.

In the voting, the 32-year-old forward surpassed his teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, and Nottingham striker Chris Wood.

The Egyptian scored 28 goals and made 18 assists in 37 matches of the Premier League season, while Liverpool secured their 20th championship ahead of schedule.

Salah has entered the list of five players in the history of the English Premier League who have been recognized as player of the season more than once. Previously, this award was won twice by Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić, and Kevin De Bruyne.
