The Egyptian scored 28 goals and made 18 assists in 37 matches of the Premier League season, while Liverpool secured their 20th championship ahead of schedule.
Salah has entered the list of five players in the history of the English Premier League who have been recognized as player of the season more than once. Previously, this award was won twice by Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić, and Kevin De Bruyne.
